The phone sat there, not ringing. Kelsey had been staring at it for the past
two hours. “Kelsey, you need to
shower. He said he would call, he will
call,” Aislinn remarked, trying futilely to distract Kelsey.
“Fine” Kelsey growled and reluctantly walked into the
bathroom and started running the water.
She had just stepped in when her phone rang. Shrieking, Kelsey screamed “answer it and stall!!!!
Answer it!!!” Caitlin answered the
phone.
“Hello?” she asked. A
masculine voice on the other end asked,
“Hi, is this Kelsey?”
“Nope.” Caitlin replied unhelpfully, trying to create time.
“Sorry, I must have the wrong number.” Disappointment coloured his voice.
“NO!! You don’t!! I’m
her roommate, Caitlin.” Aislinn motioned
to her urgently to keep stalling.
“Alright,” he replied, “is Kelsey home then?”
“Yes, she is.”
“Can I speak to her?”
“I’m not sure, what are your intentions towards…” Caitlin’s
question trailed off as the hastily-dressed and half-wet Kelsey grabbed the
phone from her hands.
“Hello????” She basically yelled into the phone. Aislinn motioned at her to take a deep breath
and calm down. “Sorry, I mean
hello. This is Kelsey.” She listened to Tom for a bit, then agreed as
both Aislinn and Caitlin watched eagerly.
Finally she hung up the phone and turned to them with a huge grin. “I’m
going on a date with Tom Hiddleston!!!!!!!!”
