In Pursuit of Stormy Eyes - Episode 7

The rest of the date was magical.  Breathtaking. After they returned the helicopter, Tom took her to a Mexican restaurant for dinner.  They decided to share a plate of nachos as an appetizer before their main course.  As the waiter stood, poised with his pen to take their order, Tom began to speak in fluent Spanish.  Kelsey was captivated.  She knew that the technical language of love was supposed to be French, however this attractive man speaking with perfect Spanish was so much more romantic than any other language could possibly ever be.  As the waiter brought them their nachos, Kelsey and Tom chatted and laughed and really got to know each other.  “You look so beautiful when you laugh – it lights up your whole face.”  Always caught off guard by his compliments, Kelsey replied,
“Ummm, thanks?” She decided that it would not be creepy then to compliment him back. “I love the beautiful way you speak Spanish.  Where did you learn?” He leaned back in his chair, his shirt defining his muscular chest.
“I spent some time in Spain – I contribute to a local charity for sick children and visit to oversee operations.” Kelsey was sure that no man could be more kind and attractive.
“Wow, that is amazing!” Tom shrugged and ginned at her.
“It makes me feel good about my contributions to society.” Changing the subject, he glanced at his watch and commented, “well, it’s getting late.  I had better take you home before your roommates start to worry.” The rational part of Kelsey completed agreed with his analysis of the late hour and the consequences of coming home well after the expected time, however, her heart protested the ending phase of such a wonderful date.  He drove her back to the apartment, and, of course, walked her right up to the door.  She slowly took our her keys from her purse (though she was positive that both Aislinn and Caitlin were waiting right inside ready to hear every second of the day).  Tom pulled her close into a gentle hug.  “I love being around you,” he remarked into the fruity perfume of her fiery hair as he held her close. Kelsey felt so safe, protected, and adored in his embrace.  She relaxed into it and laid her head on his shoulder.
“I had an amazing day with you today,” Kelsey agreed. “Amazing doesn’t ever begin to cover it,” she thought to herself as he stepped back, releasing her and allowing her to return to her apartment.  His eyes followed her until the door shut and he could no more catch a glimpse of her.  Inside, Kelsey could not stop smiling as she gave every last detail of her magical night to Aislinn and Caitlin. Caitlin aksed,
“So, does this mean that you are actually into this guy?  I mean, aside from your celebrity crush thing?”  She looked pointedly at Kelsey, waiting for her response.  Kelsey thought for a second, examining her emotions. Finally, she answered.
“Yes.  I think I have real feelings for him.”
